The cooling process of the wet curtain cooling system is completed within the core-cooling paper pad. A thin layer of water film forms on the surface of the corrugated fiber paper. When the dry and hot outdoor air is drawn through the paper pad by the fan, the water on the film absorbs heat from the air and evaporates into water vapor. The air, now cooled and humidified by this process, then enters the interior. This natural process is similar to the wind blowing over the water surface.
